Matches
Some matches, scattered on a wood-veneer table. Taken with the Sigma 105mm macro lens at 1:1 magnification. In other words, the lens projected a life size image of the matches onto the camera's sensor.

Furry
A dandelion, photographed very (too?) close up using a Sigma 105mm macro lens on my EOS 10D. A combination of the windy weather and hand holding of the camera have made this image a little soft.
To be entered in this week's "Furry" challenge, at Photo Friday.

Cold hand
Some barbed wire at Ivinghoe in Buckinghamshire. The coil in the middle looks like fingers to me.
I need to go back with a tripod.

Still object
This is part of the face of our kitchen scales. It was shot using a Sigma 105mm macro lens, and was lit by a 150w tungsten bulb in a table lamp.
I took it a week ago.

Shadow or reflection
I captured this image last weekend. It's a spider and its shadow on a garden fence. The spider was sitting at the centre of its web, a couple of centimetres from the fence.
