Brolly

Thames

Another AP Student Day picture. I took this one because I thought that the bright colours of the umbrella contrasted interestingly with the dull rainy weather.

I'm so used to digital remembering things for me that I actually can't remember what lens I took this with, but I suspect it was a Canon EF 28-135mm IS USM. As before, the film was Fuji RDP slide film, pushed from ISO 100 to ISO 400 and scanned on a Nikon Coolscan IV filmscanner.

The Garages

Birds_Close_Take_2

This was shot at the 15mm end of a 15-30mm lens. It looks rather more grandiose than it actually is - in reality it is the entrance to some garages.

Taken on Ilford FP4 b&w film, and scanned using a Nikon Coolscan IV ED.

A building

crw_3252

This building is in Vigo, Spain. I particularly like the way someone is operating a cafe under this scarily derelict construction. It'd never happen here in England. Would it?
